Family friendly, but may contain some PG 13 humor

Join us for the premiere staged reading of our new play by Doug Robinson in collaboration with the devising company of Faction of Fools! You're Not Special: A Collaborative Playwrighting Project took place over the course of five months and four intensive workshops and explores themes of pastoral comedy, destiny, and finding delight and satisfaction in the ordinary. A fully staged production of Robinson’s new play is planned for spring 2026.

Last employed in our 2023 Helen Hayes Recommended production of Love Like Tuesday, our collaborative playwrighting process embodies the values of Faction of Fools by showcasing that when art is created collaboratively by a diverse group of artists, excellence and joyous wonder abound.

Directed and facilitated by: Francesca Chilcote
Stage Manager: Cris Ruthenberg-Marshall
